Skyla Credit Union is Hiring a Facilities Support Specialist Near Charlotte, NC
- Coordinate various Credit Union maintenance services (i.e., office cleaning, snow removal, lawn, and landscaping).
- Follow all Credit Union policies, procedures, and requirements in addition to all State and Federal laws and regulations.
- Maintain an up-to-date calendar and a preventative maintenance schedule for all facilities.
- Maintain various records related to existing facilities and facility projects.
- Proficient in using computers and with facility management software.
- Research and make recommendations to promote safety, efficiency, and cost savings.
- Make recommendations for the maintenance budget for all Credit Union offices.
- Relocate Credit Union equipment and furniture, as needed.
- Perform general maintenance as well as scheduled preventative maintenance and cleaning. Complete inspections and test and maintain logs and records reflecting results.
- Perform courier services to all branches to ensure proper distribution of sensitive information and necessary branch supplies.
- Communicate any items requiring repair or additional attention to the Facilities Manager on a timely basis.
- Manage supply inventory, process supply orders for branches/departments in a timely manner. Review procedures for efficiency and recommend changes.
- Receive Credit Union supply deliveries and pickups, store appropriately, and deliver as requested.
- Ensure all maintenance equipment is functioning and in good repair, and all applicable inventory is ordered and available.
- Ensure company vehicle(s) inspections, maintenance and repairs are up to date.
- Provide access and escort third party vendors within secured areas as needed.
- Be available for emergency assistance.
- Remain flexible to change work schedule to accommodate the needs of the Credit Union.
- Comply with all Federal regulations, Credit Union policies and procedures, including Bank Secrecy and the USA Patriot Act.
- Perform job duties in accordance with the Credit Union's values, mission, and vision.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One to three years related experience.
- Basic understanding of electrical, mechanical, heating, cooling and plumbing equipment preferred.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record for making branch deliveries and/or running errands.
- Physically able to lift up to 100 lbs. weight occasionally and 75 lbs. frequently.
- Able to bend, stoop, climb and reach.
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Able to prioritize efficiently and work with minimal supervision.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to successfully organize, prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to use good judgment, especially regarding personal safety and the safety of others.
- Travel to all Credit Union locations is required.
