Job Title: IT Support Specialist
Location: Charlotte, NC

Position Type: Full-time, in-office
Summary: We are seeking a technically skilled and proactive IT Support Specialist to join our team. This position involves providing technical support to end users, resolving both technical and procedural issues in person, over the phone, and through the ticketing system. Support will encompass hardware, software, and communication problems.
The ideal candidate will work in conjunction with our third-party IT group to provide support to team members, ensuring smooth operations of IT systems and assisting with problem resolution. The role involves working closely with third-party vendors, managing hardware and software deployments, troubleshooting issues, and facilitating effective communication among diverse groups within the organization.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide timely support to team members.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors for laptop and hardware deployments for new team members, including inventory management and offboarding assistance.
  • Provide support for computers, iPhones, and iPads, addressing hardware, software, and communication issues as needed.
  • Design test plans and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Document requirements in the form of use cases, business requirement documents, and user stories.
  • Ensure project activities and deliverables are designed for customer value and successful adoption.
  • Share best practices with team members to enhance customer support quality and efficiency via training sessions and user manuals.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among diverse groups within the organization.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Establish good relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Manage technical documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed descriptions of services performed during service calls.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Preferred 2 years of experience in IT support and systems maintenance.
  • Preferred experience with Salesforce platform.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Deep knowledge of operating systems and applications (e.g., Windows, Mac OS, Microsoft 365, Teams, Adobe).
  • Good understanding of mobile and laptop security environments.
  • Strong data management abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills with a proactive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A , Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST), Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP)).
  • Customer service experience or technical internships.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (JIRA, ServiceNow, Zendesk)
