Job Summary and Qualifications

• Facility system specialist performs general routine maintenance and servicing operations to maintain the hospital equipment and building in accordance with applicable codes, laws, and accreditation standards.
• Also responsible for preventive maintenance and daily non-scheduled work requests.
• Basic computer skills, and good mechanical aptitude with supportive technical knowledge in one or more of the following areas: plumbing, blueprint reading, steam and heat generation, and general maintenance.

Equipment List: Hand Tools, Power Tools, Computer, Test Instruments, Telephone, Fax and 2-way radio.

What qualifications you will need:

• Experience: 5 years of plant operations or facilities management experience; experience in a hospital setting preferred.
