Date Available: 08/05/2024 Description: The role of the school psychologist is a leadership position that is evolving toward the role of assessment specialist and interventionist with a focus on Problem Solving and RtI, In-service training, general education and special education consultation for school improvement, special education evaluations, social/emotional/behavioral support, counseling, and crisis intervention. Knowledge of IDEA and Illinois rules/regulations is expected. Candidates should recognize the importance of school improvement and take an active role in the school improvement process, including providing intervention instruction during our thirty minute enrichment block. Qualifications:
Illinois Teaching License with School Psychologist (PK - Age 21) endorsement required
English as a Second Language endorsement, preferred or must be willing to complete.
