Closing Date: Ongoing Job Summary: The teacher will instruct limited English proficient students in a sheltered model. The teacher will cooperatively work with other classroom teachers, pupil personnel team, and complementary subject area teachers. The teacher will be responsible for the screening assessment and follow-up on students whose first language is not English, meeting needs of English language development, evaluating student progress, and communicating progress to parents. Qualifications:
Illinois Teaching License with Elementary Education (K-9) endorsement required
