We are a luxury medical spa located in Manhattan. We are looking for a FULL-TIME OFFICE RECEPTIONIST AND SALES ASSISTANT with SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING, IMAGE PROCESSING AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS. This is fully "in-office" position, with a social media part done during downtime in the office.

THIS JOB IS A COMBINATION OF IN-PERSON PATIENT COMMUNICATION, SALES and SSM.

You will be tested on digital photo editing/photoshop, and social media marketing proficiency. Experience in similar receptionist role with sales is a must. You will be working directly with the MD owner on all these tasks.

Job Details:

The in-person office receptionist portion of this position involves front-of-the-office work, delivering excellent customer service, and promoting aesthetic services such as Botox, Dermal Fillers, Coolsculpting, Laser treatments etc., to increase sales and patient retention.

You will be expected to memorize the full service menu for a deep understanding of how the treatments work, allowing you to explain them to patients, facilitating sales. Customer service and communication skills are a MUST for this position, and a warm and bubbly personality is a MUST.

The SSM portion of this job is also done in the office during downtime. It involves creating and editing “before and after” photos and videos and using them to create optimized social media (IG, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube) posts and online marketing campaigns, reaching out to journalists and editors for collaborations and SEO. Exceptional writing skills, photo and video editing skills, and creativity are a MUST here, as you will be expected to create engaging posts and innovative online marketing campaigns daily.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Manage front desk duties such as checking patients in/out while ensuring a positive and warm experience and maintaining a clean and professional appearance.
• Keep the clinic clean and organized and perform other on-site duties as requested.
• Initiate sales by using your knowledge about our medical treatments (you will receive a packet that you will be expected to study and be quizzed on, until you understand all services through and through), recommending treatments, and answering patients’ questions about the services.
• Close sales and upsell by building rapport with patients, explaining treatments and services, recommending treatments, and overcoming objections.
• Editing and fine-tuning before and after photos and videos for the website and social media.
• Creating engaging and creative posts, videos, and online marketing campaigns for various platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, amongst others - Digital photo editing skills using Photoshop and Canva are a must and will be tested.
• Creating Excel spreadsheets listing communication and outreach to journalists, editors, and potential affiliates, and updating them as you go - this is an ongoing process and you must be prepared to do tedious work.

Requirements:

• Med spa/Aesthetics industry experience: 1 year (Required)
• Sales: 1 year (Required)
• Digital marketing skills (Required) - You will be tested on this.
• Bachelor's degree
• Quick learner - Your knowledge on all aesthetic/medical procedures performed in the office will be tested over the course of your first few weeks, and you will be expected to understand each service through and through.
• Booking systems, Mindbody, Client email apps, G-Suite, Windows, Social Media, Photoshop (Pro level), Canva (Pro level), Premier Pro (know the basics).
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to be resourceful and resilient in dealing with challenging and difficult patients.
• Present oneself with a neat and professional appearance.
• Be ready to provide recommendations from previous employers.

FULL-TIME

Monday - Friday:

10:00am-6:00pm

Occasional Saturdays:

11:00am - 2:00pm

Compensation:

$75,000 - $80,000 Performance Bonus
