JOB DESCRIPTION

Skiltrek is looking for an off-shift Maintenance Supervisor to join a team in the Spirits Manufacturing Industry. The Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the plant operates at an optimal level to achieve the highest efficiency and quality.

This involves overseeing maintenance to ensure plant reliability and operational efficiency, as well as analyzing and resolving problems relating to production.

The role also includes ensuring adherence to all Personal Safety, Food Safety, Quality, and Environmental Policies and Practices, and driving continuous improvement efforts within the Plant Maintenance department.

A significant part of the role is customer satisfaction, with the aim of managing the Plant Maintenance department to achieve 95% operational uptime.

The supervisor will consult with operations on cost savings projects and recommend new methodologies and equipment to ensure production efficiency, maximize output, and prevent downtime.

Team management is also a crucial aspect of this role, ensuring employees are treated fairly and with respect, and fostering a team environment where all employees are encouraged to excel.

Lastly, the supervisor will consult with the Plant Maintenance Manager on performance issues to improve the skills and performance of all employees in the Plant Maintenance department.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 2 years in a leadership / management role within a manufacturing enviornment
• Ability to work night shift and rotating schedule
• Bachelor's degree in engineering

Lean Manufacturing experience
