Sandstone Spring Valley is currently recruiting a part time HR Assistant to partner with the Director of Human Resources to support a staff of nearly 300. The HR Assistant will provide administrative suport with conducting New Employee Orientation, maintaining personnel records, assisting with conducting verifications of employment, and assisting with monitoring job postings. Please note, a resume must be submitted in order to be considered. 

The Job:

• Maintain electronic personnel records. 
• Filing, scanning, and uploading personnel documents. 
• Assist in the facilitation of New Employee Orientation. 
• Create new and replacement ID Badges for staff. 
• Assist with ensuring onboarding tasks are completed. 
• Answer frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes; refers more complex questions and situations to the Director of Human Resources. 
• Performs periodic audits of personnel files to ensure that all required documents are accounted for. 

The Schedule:

• Monday: 8:00am to 5:30pm
• Tuesday: 8:00am to 4:30pm

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to successfully pass NABS fingerprint screening and drug test. 
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 
• 1 Year Experience in a clerical / assistant role. 
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• High attention to detail. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 Year Experience in Human Resources
• 1 Year Experience in Healthcare
