We are looking for a hardworking and reliable HR Assistant to join our Human Resources team! This is currently a temp role.
If you are passionate about HR operations and you would like to give your contribution in creating a great company culture, this is the right position for you. Our HR Assistant position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support for HR executive.
Provide orientations for new employees by sharing onboarding packages and explaining company policies.
Handle new employee onboarding.
Assist with administration of benefit plans.
Assist with talent acquisition as needed.
Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
Maintain human resources records by recording new hires, transfers, terminations, changes in job classifications, merit increases; tracking vacation, sick, and personal time.
Assist with employee engagement activities.
Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities in coordination with HR team members.
Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates.
Ensure compliance with labor regulations.
Requirements
At least 2 years of proven experience in Human Resources role.
1 -2 years of recruiting and/or human resources related experience preferred
Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems preferred
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Act as a reliable and supportive team member.
Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
Working knowledge of employment/labor laws.
Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems (e.g. PeopleSoft) will be a plus.
Excellent communication and people skills.
Aptitude in problem-solving.
Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Additional HR training and/or certification will be a plus.
Must pass a background check
