The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for performing varied quality assurance activities on multiple IT projects. In general the individual will be responsible for designing, developing and executing manual and automated test cases, identifying defects and chasing them to closure and producing test execution reports for different projects. The individual will work with other QA team members, IT and other stakeholders (Internal and External) to build out Test Plan and associated QA documentation.

• Create detailed Test Cases based on project requirements, user stories or associated documents.
• Perform testing for multiple IT Initiatives (Vendor or custom developed) in parallel
• Experience in building and maintaining Test cases and test execution reports in Test Management tools like Microsoft DevOps, JIRA
• Log, monitor, track and report on issues and defects
• Work closely with other IT teams including infrastructure, product and development teams to support demand, execution and releases
• Create and execute comprehensive test cases and test execution reports
• Produce Test execution reports and associated QA documentation
• Perform other tasks as needed

• Experience in implementing and maintaining Automated test suite desired
• Candidate must be a self-starter and have excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively process through requirements
• Experience in Testing Hardware and Infrastructure implementations desired
• Ability to work across a variety of concurrent initiatives
• Good team player and collaborator
• Identifies, communicates, and escalates issues as required
• Possesses experience working in Agile, Waterfall and hybrid environments

• Experience in Legal Technology, Workday application beneficial but not required

• 6 years’ experience supporting software implementations in a hands-on QA role

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of relevant experience

Salary Information

NY only: The estimated base salary range for this position is $120k to $140k at the time of posting.

The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. This role is non-exempt meaning that it is overtime pay eligible.
