YOU

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, modifying, and developing software programming applications, ensuring customer satisfaction is met by all team members. That's year one.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING(% of Time)

Design and develop applications and services with a small scrum team that focuses on next generation design and management tools for component manufacturers in the wood structure building ecosystem. Development will primarily be in C# for Microsoft web and desktop technologies utilizing .NET technologies, TSQL, and ASP.NET, etc. (85%)

Participate in Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospectives as part of the Agile Scrum software development lifecycle. (15%)

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or technology, information systems or software engineering course of study or have relevant experience.
• 6 years developing with C#, SQL, .NET Core, Minimal API, and Blazor.
• Thorough knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript and CSS.
• UI development using HTML/JS/CSS and WPF or UWP required.
• Advanced understanding of Microsoft development tools such as VS Code, Visual Studio IDE and SQL Management Studio.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience using design patterns such as dependency inversion via dependency injection required.
• Strong ability to start and lead a project from inception to completion required.
• Ability to break down high level requirements into technical specifications for implementation required.
• Experience with automated unit testing patterns and tools.
• Solid knowledge of MSBuild and Powershell.
• Solid knowledge of Bitbucket and Git source control.
• Azure development including App Service, Functions, Logic Apps, AKS, Monitor, Key Vault.
• Experience with JIRA/Confluence.
• Agile development experience.
• Microsoft Azure certifications is a plus.
• Experience using SSRS is a plus.
• Jenkins/Team City build server knowledge is a plus.
• Building industry experience is a plus.

This full-time, exempt position is located in Boulder, Colorado or remote with availability during core hours of 9am to 4pm MT.

Pay

$110400 - $149100 / year
