As an Associate Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible to troubleshoot, repair, and conduct preventative maintenance on metal stamping equipment and supporting equipment. This position starts at $27.00 per hour Weekend Shift Hours are F-Sun 6:00 AM -6:30 PM. You will receive a $2.50 shift differential for every regular hour worked. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (% of Time) Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, hydraulic and mechanical equipment (45%) Perform preventative maintenance on stamping presses and supporting equipment. (35%) Miscellaneous repairs and tasks which could include parts pickup, coordinating vendors, developing training materials and solutions. (10%) Install and service electrical distribution systems. (5%) Perform routine building service and maintenance. (5%) DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE If you can do everything listed above, you’ve got what it takes. Perhaps some of the following would be helpful too: Simpson Strong-Tie Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Certification (will certify at hire) is required. 5 years working in industrial or commercial environments. Tools: own tools must be provided. Electrical: 12-480V electrical troubleshooting and repair skills. Including servos, VFD’s. Mechanical: experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Writing: ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Speaking: ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, vendors, and other employees of the organization. Technology: knowledgeable in Microsoft PC environment, including Word, Outlook and Excel. Self-Management: ability to display a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment towards completing assignments in a timely manner. TRAVEL REQUIRED This job does not require domestic travel.
