• Manage and oversee a team of in-house editors, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure the quality and consistency of all content produced.
• Recruit, onboard, and manage a large team of freelance writers, assigning content work and ensuring deadlines are met. Monitor for quality of work and identify areas for improvement to elevate work to Simpleview standards. 
• Develop and implement editorial guidelines, standards, and best practices to maintain consistency and quality across all content.
• Develop and maintain an editorial content calendar for full management projects.
• Edit and proofread content for accuracy, clarity, grammar, style, and adherence to brand voice and guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and SEO, to develop content strategies and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Maintain accurate time and records for each project.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continually improve content quality and effectiveness.

• Proven experience as a digital copywriter or content manager, preferably in an agency or marketing environment.
• Ability to lead, train, and motivate a team of content editors within Simpleview, in addition to a network of freelance writers. 
• Experience managing and maintaining a freelance network a definite plus
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a portfolio showcasing diverse digital copy samples.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing.
• Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), social media management tools, and analytics platforms.
• Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and concepts.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients, and communicate complex concepts into easily digestible ideas or points.

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, or Communications.
• Travel writing experience.
• Bi/multilingual.
• Functional understanding of HTML.
