SiloSmashers is Hiring a Microsoft Platform Developer Near Washington, DC

GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Microsoft Platform Developer will support an Engineering team as a part of a large, complex cybersecurity, engineering and PMO contract for a federal customer, providing expertise towards systems engineering solutions and services across a variety of platforms and technology. The successful candidate will provide technical support to solutioning engineer and engineering-related projects.

The ideal candidate will be self-driven and have the inherent interest to continue learning new technologies to collaboratively solve problems.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • PowerApps experience building Canvas or model-driven apps, including basing a design from an existing database
  • PowerAutomate experience
  • Experience developing Data Calls using REST Api's
  • SharePoint development experience (secondary)
  • Demonstrated experience with JavaScript ( not JAVA JRE)
  • Demonstrated experience automating file structure changes
  • Building an interface to SharePoint backend list based on Forms or PowerApps
  • Leveraging data from an on-premises environment via Data Gateway
  • Power BI exp designing and updating existing reports
  • Designs, develops, enhances, debugs, and implements software. Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications. Researches, tests, builds, and coordinates the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements. Designs and develops new software products or major enhancements to existing software. Evaluates effectiveness. Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.
  • Consults with project teams and end users to identify application requirements.
  • Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management. Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools. Troubleshooting, remediating and optimizing any and all SharePoint based issues, while also working with engineering requirements and providing strategic recommendations to management.
  • Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. Acts as team leader on projects. Instructs, assigns, directs, and checks the work of others on the development team.
  • Participates in development of software user manuals and technical reports.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
  • 8 years of experience using SharePoint 2013 or newer versions and SharePoint Designer, HTML and JavaScript
  • 8 years of experience with relational database (i.e. SQL Server)
  • 2 years of experience using MSFT Power Platform -
  • 8 years of experience consulting clients on potential SharePoint Solutions, client presentations, translating business requirements into technical requirements.
  • 8 years of experience with System testing and User Acceptance Testing
