Responsibilities

• Perform engineering calculations of reinforced concrete structures with the aid of computer software, spreadsheets, and hand calculations.
• Prepare condition assessments and feasibility reports of existing and new reinforced concrete structures.
• Participate in structural development of construction progress and study the structural components of existing buildings.
• Check construction plans, design calculations, and cost estimates to ensure completeness, accuracy, and conformity to engineering standards and practices.
• Provide CAD drawing production development.
• Develop conceptual design alternatives in order to propose innovative and cost-effective design solutions to clients.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Must be able to perform job tasks, including having knowledge of reinforced concrete structures.
