WHAT'S YOUR DAY LIKE?
As a Structural Engineer, your role is instrumental in the production of design calculations, reports, and plans for a variety of bridge projects. You will collaborate with the project manager to develop structural calculations, designs, and bid documents. Mentoring and guiding junior engineers will be a part of your responsibilities, ensuring the growth and development of the team. Your day-to-day tasks will involve the independent review and creation of structural computations for the design and analysis of bridges, along with overseeing the coordination and productivity of project team members.
In this vital role, you will not only review structural design calculations, drawings, and cost estimates but also actively participate in the evaluation of structural designs, fostering a collaborative approach with our clients. Your expertise will be crucial in providing technical guidance to less experienced engineering project team members. Coordinating bridge work with the civil team to ensure consistency in project designs and performing quality control reviews of bridge engineering project elements are key aspects of your responsibilities.
