Established law firm with offices throughout Texas looking to hire an entry level attorney for its Houston market. The position is primarily remote but will require some in person appearances for court hearings and client meetings.

The firm has a 10 year operating history and currently employs 14 lawyers that practice real estate, business, probate, and litigation. The firm also has a fee attorney relationship with Fidelity National Title to support and complement its real estate practice.

About The Position
This is an entry level position for lawyers looking to gain experience in some of the firm's practice areas (business, real estate, probate, and litigation). The attorney will work directly under the firm owner in providing new client consults as well as the Managing Attorney when working on specific case files. The target length of this position is 18-24 months before the successful candidate would be expected to transition into a role that requires less oversight and more responsibility. Specific job tasks include providing consults for potential new clients 1-3 hours per day, working firm files, and writing blog posts for the firm.

Ideal Candidates
Desired qualifications include good communication skills, a willingness to learn litigation, proficiency in email and word processing applications, strong attention to detail, and respect for the seriousness of the practice of law. The successful candidate must be comfortable with working and receiving training in a virtual environment.
