Associate Attorney Needed

Well-established and nationally recognized Plaintiff’s law firm in Houston, Texas is seeking to add a new trial lawyer to our rapidly growing law firm. Our firm has been helping the injured and wronged for over 17 years in personal injury, insurance claims, and mass tort litigation. More recently, the litigation practice has developed a focus on trucking litigation and wrongful death cases.

The firm supports our team with continuing legal education and pays for approved additional trial lawyer training. We provide training to our trial lawyers that is unparalleled. Formal marketing, accounting, and operations administration is handled 100% by the firm’s large team.

This position is an excellent opportunity for: 1) Small firm or solo attorneys who want a lot of trial experience with the backing of an established firm and a steady flow of work; 2) Defense attorneys seeking the right opportunity to switch sides; or 3) younger associates with a burning desire to kick start their career as a personal injury trial lawyer with the opportunity to earn fee splits/commissions on cases. Please note that at this time, we have a preference for adding an attorney who is fully bilingual in Spanish to our firm. We handle motor vehicle, trucking, premises liability, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death cases nationwide, so there is consistent travel time for depositions and hearings in other cities. However, the bulk of our personal injury practice is primarily in Texas.

Our ideal candidate will have 4 years of experience in personal injury and have previous experience with:

• Motion Drafting
• Taking and defending depositions
• Arguing motions in the court room
• Reviewing and assessing damages in a case
• Performing case evaluations with the litigation team
• File to trial experience (Trial attendance not required)

For this position, the firm offers full benefits, 401K, and profit sharing. We also pay attorneys referral fees for any cases generated.

Experience:

• 4 years of experience with personal injury on the Plaintiff’s side (actual trial experience highly preferred).
