Overview:

Cepeda Systems & Software Analysis, Inc. (CSSA), a rapidly growing small company, is currently seeking an Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Test Coordinator to join the team as an integral member of a group of government, military, and contractor personnel that provide program, engineering, and technical support on a wide variety of projects.

Responsibilities and Duties:

This position will assist engineers and technical staff in development and execution of test plans and procedures for a variety of types of tests, including but not limited to network testing, systems testing, software testing, and field / flight test events. The candidate will have experience with workflow software such as JIRA, Confluence, or other Kanban based workflow management utilities.

The ideal candidate will have hands on experience with test management software like SpiraTest or similar, and a desire to learn about new systems to test them effectively.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Work within an Agile scrum development model to organize sprint-based testing on a system image on a biweekly basis.
• Author System Test Plans which identify a clear and measurable plan to exercise a ‘system under test’ to validate system requirements.
• Coordinate and execute Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs) in advance of formal test events.
• Coordinate and execute Post Test Reviews (PTRs) following formal test events.
• Develop automated testing where applicable in scripting languages and/or compiled code.
• Troubleshoot installation and operational issues to clearly identify system bugs and communicate bugs to the appropriate development groups.
• Develop engineering technical material including but not limited to System Test Plans, System Test Reports, Biweekly Test Reports, Test Schedules, Installation Guides, and Interface Control Documents, SpiraTest or similar, and a desire to learn about new systems to test them effectively.

Knowledge/Skills Required

• Experience as a Software Test Engineer utilizing industry standard test management SW.
• Experience with general software and network troubleshooting.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Security SE (or other IAT II base certificate).
• Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell is a plus.
• Experience with Unmanned Aircraft Systems is a plus.
• Experience using network traffic analyzers such as Wireshark is a plus.
• Experience with software test tools such as SpiraTest, is a plus.
• Experience with technical writing and document generation are a plus.
• Experience organizing test events is a plus.
• Experience writing technical documentation is a plus.
• Experience with Atlassian workflow management software is a plus.
• Experience creating automated systems is a plus.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of six (6) years of related experience. 
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must hold an active Secret Clearance
• Must be willing to complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
