We are currently seeking a Tableau Developer to join our growing corporate team in Huntsville, AL. This is a very fast-paced, agile opportunity and a unique experience to lead a new corporate initiative

Responsibilities for Tableau Developer:

• Lead discussions with business units to identify functional requirements resulting in development of system specifications and Tableau applications
• Experience developing dashboards with drill down capability
• Perform data modeling based on multiple data sources
• Write and optimize SQL queries
• Develop, create and manage a databases as needed to support Tableau work products
• Administer all aspects of a Tableau development and production environments including security and performance tuning
• Work with contractors/vendors when they are engaged to assist with large projects
• Provide ad-hoc data analysis and support to business functions
• Provide end-user Tableau training
• Ensure metrics, benchmarks and related content are accurately represented in published content

Required Experience:

Qualifications for Tableau Developer:

• Minimum 3 years experience designing and developing dashboards using Tableau Desktop for various organizational metrics and indicators using best practices and industry standards
• Minimum 3 years database design and administration experience
• Senior level proficiency in building dashboards and scorecards
• Data Warehousing & connecting to various data sources a must
• Ability to interact with stakeholders throughout the organization
• 3 years in Tableau
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science. Additional years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
• Experience with tools such as MS ACCESS, TOAD, SQL, etc.
