What makes Sigao different?

This means our primary purpose is to support the people around us. We do that by building an environment where people can learn new skills, collaborate effectively, and solve problems using technology. Sigao may be growing, but we don't pursue "rocket ship" growth at the expense of our team's sanity. Instead, our focus is on sustainable long-term growth and stability.

As part of a startup team, you'll have the opportunity to grow with an early-stage company. Those who are along for the ride will have the opportunity to help shape what kind of company we turn into.

What makes this position different from others?

We attribute our extremely high project success rate and customer satisfaction to our team's ability to communicate effectively with each other, and our customers. All developers are full members of the team that contribute quality code, interact with customers, and provide insight on project deliverables.

In addition to strong communication, our developers are encouraged to be creative. Finding the right solution could mean writing custom code, implementing 3rd party tools, or integrating some combination of the two. Our goal is to solve problems as effectively as possible, and no two solutions look the same.

What kind of technology do we use?

Our team prides itself in being technology agnostic. We use whatever technology is most suited to the individual customer's situation. Expect a lot of learning in a lot of different areas!

With that said, we've listed our core strengths below. These technologies are our strongest, and what we prefer to use when we have the choice. While we don't expect every new team member to know this stack before they join us, we do expect for them to be able to build their expertise in these areas quickly.

  • Methodology: Agile/Scrum
  • Source control: Azure Devops/git
  • Middle Tier: .NET Core/C#
  • Web Front end: Angular or React (and by extension, HTML/CSS/JS)
  • Mobile: Ionic or Nativescript
  • Cloud services: Azure
  • Low Code: Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI, etc)
