Develop data driven strategic recommendations for AGT gas turbine business (new unit and services) in a fast pace changing market environment. Generate comprehensive strategic scenarios based on financial models, market forecast models, fleet data, business models, and product life cycle analysis. Lead collaboration efforts and meetings across multiple functions and business within the execution, sales, product management, and central strategy units to align on data and objectives. Give presentation and effectively communicate at all levels including senior executive levels.

Driving the long-term strategic success of the AGT business within Siemens Energy. AGT business includes 10 different products with ~2,500 units in operation installed in 81 countries.

What You Bring

A strategic Thinker

• A curious learner with ability to gather data, interview experts, work with internal/external customer(s), and cross functional teams.
• Ability to analyze and synthesize multiple sets and layers of data to key take aways points.
• Ability to extrapolate the data, imagine the future state that’s believable aligned with the business vision.
• Ability to communicate clearly and ‘pitch’ the future state for decision makers.

A Team Player

• Ability to work well with others and has strong influence skills to get the data needed to develop the strategy.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to both manipulate data and make conclusions from the data.
• Strong background in Excel, Database, and Power Point (ppt)
• Teaming skills and ability to listen, ask questions, and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Strong attention to detail and project management skills

Experienced in Business Strategy

• Understanding of regional/local business/customer/competition practice; be able to work in global, multi-culture environment.
• Will consider applicants with more or less experience but must be a fast learner.
• 5 years in Business Strategy or Business Analyst Roles
• MBA Preferred
• Agile, creative, and thinking outside of the box

Gas Services

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
