You will be working with a cross functional team to deliver commodity strategies, lead sourcing projects to achieve Total cost reduction and deliver a weatherproof supply chain.
How You’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities)
· Develop and deliver robust and integrated Commodity and Supplier strategies to provide supply chains capable of providing business needs across all stakeholder areas.
· Ensure a close cooperation with internal customers to ensure customer care and early involvement.
· Strong and proven negotiation skills.
What You Bring (requirements)
· · Ability to work in a complex, fast changing global organizational environment
· · 8 years of experience in strategic sourcing/commodity management.
· · Outstanding Excel skills.
· · Outstanding communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
· · Excellent commercial, contractual, and project management acumen.
· · Familiarity with component Manufacturing processes and Quality
· · Knowledge of working with a global supplier base, in a matrix environment.
· · Preferably bachelor’s degree or CPM/CPSM qualified.
· Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
