They will plan and assign work, implement policies andoperating procedures and be responsible for safety, quality, productivity,morale, and cost to achieve positive results.

• Managedepartmental performance measures, develops KPI’s (key performance indicators)and provide regular progress reports 
• Provideassociate supervision, coaching, development and accountability 
• Developstrategies to improve team performance and reduce downtime
• Applypolicies related to job performance, company values and safety
• Ensureeffective employee relations, creating and influencing a fun, yet highlyefficient work environment 
• Assistin associate hiring, onboarding and retention
• Championlean initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
• Directand enhance site ISO 9001 quality standards
• Supportthe operations team in the development and execution of manufacturingstrategies
• Otherduties and projects as needed 

CandidatesShould Possess the Following:

• Bachelor’sdegree in Engineering, Business Administration or related field ispreferred 
• Highschool diploma, GED or equivalent required 
• Preferredto have cut and sew manufacturing industry experience
• Musthave previous successful manufacturing or production leadership experience
• Managerialskills relating to the ability to lead cross-functional teams
• Openand effective communicator and collaborator with all levels of theorganization, including verbal and written, including being a team player andhaving a professional interface with others, getting results throughcollaboration
• Stronginterpersonal skills, including coaching, mentoring and employee relations 
• Highlyskilled in Microsoft applications, especially Word, Excel and Outlook andability to learn new software programs and systems 
• Activeleadership experience in lean initiatives, six-sigma programs and kaizenactivities are very helpful 
• Familiarwith ISO standards
• Strongsense of urgency, follow-through, and diligence, including meeting deadlinesand able to remain organized with and keep track of multiple sources ofinformation and data 
• Abilityto follow and lead safety standards and standard work
