Overview
Exigesis a diagnostic portable imaging company providing quality portable x-ray,ultrasound, and electrocardiogram (EKG) to patients in their homes or home-caresettings. Our trained professionals serve patients of all ages.
Theprimary purpose of the Mobile Radiological (X-Ray) Technician is to providequality x-ray services to patients, typically receiving home based orinstructional care, to limit as much discomfort and inconvenience aspossible resulting in the ability of primary physicians, radiologists, andfamily member to determine proper plans for care.
Purpose:

Skills:
Conciselyanswer questions about the ultrasound procedure to be conducted.
Performordered ultrasound and capture images.
Evaluateimages and interpret their meaning.
Accuratelypresent the images and diagnosis to healthcare professionals.
Clearlyadd notes pertaining to the x-ray results.
CanCalibrate, maintain and contain all equipment.
Abilities:
Capableof working flexible hours. Full autonomy in the field on their own.
Abilityto travel with some, but extremely rare, overnight stays.
Canoperate portable x-ray equipment.
Communicateclearly.
Treatspatients, family members, care staff and physicians with the utmost respect.
Proficientlyreads and writes in the English language.
Workswell alone and with other team members.
Possessthe ability to problem solve and make decisions.
Responsibilities:
Explain x-ray procedure to patients so they feel comfortable with the experience.
Keepall equipment is clean and in excellent working order.
Performexams in home-based care environments.
Refrainfrom commenting on results with patients.
Immediatelynotify the physician of any abnormalities or concerns.
Chartresults when required.
Workclosely with dispatch personnel on schedules and schedule changes.
Communicate patient results to physician or radiology group.
