Job Description

We are seeking a Plant Engineer for a direct hire/permanent role in Griffin, GA. This brand new role will be joining a growing global organization and will be responsible for: 

• Prepareing project plans, project controls and specifications, schedules, cost estimates, production, transportation, installation, testing, and/or commissioning of new project deliverables
• Monitoring progress and performance against the project plan; takes action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays
• Identifies, develops, and gathers the resources necessary to complete the project
• May include preparing engineering standards, designs, and work specifications; developing project schedules, budgets, and forecasts; and selecting materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors
• Supports relationships through strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders
• Supports continuous improvement/automation activities 
• Leads large projects or processes of complex scope, with limited oversight from the manager
• Coaches, reviews, and delegates work to lower-level professionals
• Assists in the development of the operational plan and implements for areas of assigned responsibilities
• Identifies continuous improvement/automation activities

Qualifications

•  Bachelor's Degree, 8 years of related experience or Master's Degree and ,6 years of related experience
• Experience leading large projects or processes of complex scope
• Previous experience preparing project plans, project controls and specifications, schedules, cost estimates, production, transportation, installation, testing, and/or commissioning of new project deliverables
