SUMMARY
The Specialist of B2C Content – Thought Leadership, with a primary focus on content remixes, is a dynamic and creative role within our content team. Reporting to the Manager Lead of B2C Content, this role is pivotal in repurposing and refreshing SHRM's extensive thought leadership and research assets. The goal is to engage and captivate our audience of HR professionals and leaders through innovative content remixes. This role demands a unique blend of data visualization, analytical prowess, and exceptional writing skills to adapt and transform content across various mediums, ensuring maximum impact and reach within our content marketing initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Content Remixing and Adaptation: Expertly repurpose and refresh existing thought leadership and research materials into engaging formats tailored for our B2C audience. Transform longer pieces into digestible assets, merge older content into innovative formats, and find creative ways to reuse our content library.
  • Data Visualization: Utilize data visualization techniques to enhance storytelling and present complex information in an accessible and engaging manner. Collaborate with the data team to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Analytical Assessment: Analyze content performance metrics to guide the remix strategy, ensuring content meets audience needs and marketing objectives. Use insights to refine and optimize content remixes.
  • Creative Collaboration: Work closely with the content creation team to brainstorm and develop new ideas for content remixes. Ensure all content aligns with brand voice and audience expectations.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple content remix projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards. Collaborate with various departments to gather assets and secure approvals.
  • Market Trends Monitoring: Keep abreast of content marketing and industry trends to ensure our content remixes remain innovative and relevant. Apply best practices and emerging techniques to our strategy.
  • Other duties assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in content marketing, with a focus on B2C content creation and remixing.
  • Demonstrated success in repurposing content across various formats and platforms.
  • Experience with data visualization and analytics tools.
  • A portfolio of work, including, short & long form pieces.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
  • Strong understanding of content marketing strategies and audience engagement principles.
  • Familiarity with HR industry trends and challenges faced by HR professionals.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools and techniques.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences and formats.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret content performance data and make informed decisions.
  • Advanced proficiency in content management systems, SEO principles, and social media platforms.
  • Creativity and innovation in developing and executing content remixes.
  • Ability to manage projects efficiently, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams.
  • Passionate about SHRM's mission and committed to advancing the HR profession.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Capable of performing essential duties with reasonable accommodations.
  • Work involves sitting, talking, hearing, and typing, with visual acuity required for keyboard usage, data analysis, and computer terminal operation.
  • Occasional light lifting may be necessary.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Work is primarily conducted in a professional office setting, utilizing standard office equipment.
  • Expected office presence of 3 days per week.
  • Minimal travel requirements, less than 10%
LI-Hybrid
The hiring range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000 per year. This range is an estimate and the actual salary may vary based on the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. SHRM offers a competitive and comprehensive total rewards package.
