Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable and attentive food runner to join our team. As a food runner, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of food from the kitchen to the dining area, assisting servers in delivering orders to guests, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Retrieve food orders from the kitchen and ensure accuracy and presentation before delivering them to the appropriate tables.
• Coordinate with servers to prioritize food delivery based on timing and guest preferences.
• Assist servers in clearing and resetting tables, removing used dishes and utensils, and ensuring that tables are clean and properly set for the next guests.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth and timely service.
• Provide friendly and attentive service to guests, addressing any requests or concerns they may have promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with other members of the restaurant staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and management, to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper food handling and storage procedures, to maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working as a food runner or similar position in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure and deliver exceptional service even during busy periods.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift and carry trays of food and drinks as needed.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
