Position Summary:

Shoreline Biosciences is seeking an outstanding and highly motivated candidate to join our growing R&D team at the Senior Scientist level. This position will report to the Associate Director of the Genome Editing group and will play a vital role in the induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived Natural Killer (NK) cell therapies team. Key roles will be focused on genome editing, cell line and clonality characterization, and optimization of iPSC-NK platforms. This will be a full-time position located at our corporate headquarters in La Jolla, CA. The level of the position and compensation package will be competitive and tailored to the specific level of the candidate.

Experience Required:

• Experience in CRISPR-based genome editing, clone screening, and characterization
• Experience in Lentivirus and/or Retrovirus transduction
• Experience in iPSC, ESC, or other stem cell culture
• Prior experience with IND, NDA, or BLA is preferred
• Maintaining a high level of data integrity and attention to detail is expected.
• Training and management of junior colleagues.

Qualifications:

• Molecular Biology, Immunology, Cancer Biology, Stem Cell Biology, and Biomedical Engineering or relevant scientific discipline; 4 years of relevant industry experience
• A strong academic career with high caliber publications in peer-reviewed journals is preferred
• Comfortable in a fast-paced work environment and able to adjust workload based upon changing priorities
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Self-motivating and creative, able to work within a team and collaborate proficiently with colleagues to achieve program goals.

• Leading and completing projects.

• 100% on-site work at corporate headquarters in San Diego, CA.
• Evening and weekend work as necessary.
