Shobha, a leader in the hair removal industry is seeking for an experienced sales representative and salon receptionist. Sales experience is a must and candidate must be willing to work in our NY locations.

About the role: We are currently seeking a Key Holder for our NY locations. To succeed in this role, you will need a polished set of skills, including exceptional attention-to-detail, proactive problem-solving, a positive attitude and super important: Sales Experience. As a team member you will need to not only thrive, but add to the positive company culture to provide a warm and welcoming environment for both our clients and team.

Core Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive, personable customer service
• Open and close the salon as necessary
• Greet and check-in clients as they arrive
• Meet Sales Goals of services packages and products.
• Schedule client appointments and update client records
• Communicate with team members to ensure accuracy and timeliness of appointments
• Reconcile Transactions at the of the day
• Be excited to talk about services, products and/or promotions with every client.
• Be ready to solve clients complaints, incidents while showing genuine care and respect for them
• Receive, restock and count inventory, replenish inventory as needed, maintain inventory room standards
• Maintain salon appearance, including maintenance of restrooms, dusting shelves, shoveling snow if needed.

Requirements:

• One year or more of retail, salon, hospitality, restaurant, or customer service experience (sales associate, receptionist)
• Flexible schedule availability, including evenings and weekends
• POS experience preferred (Zenoti not required)
• Strong customer service skills
• Exceptional attention-to-detail
• Strong organization and prioritization skills
• A team player mentality, where no job is too small
• Ability to multi-task and jump from item to item with ease
• Ability to thrive under pressure and sometimes “put out fires” that arise in the salon
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S., with proper documentation
• Ability to lift 20 lbs
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
