This QA opportunity is perfect for those keen on ensuring software quality. As a QA Specialist, you'll test products, report bugs, and collaborate with developers to enhance quality. Department: Quality Assurance

Reports to: QA Lead

Responsibilities:

• Assist in day to day operations of Quality Assurance.
• Analyze requirements from the Product team.
• Test documentation maintenance using test design techniques. 
• Test execution: functional, performance, regression.
• Bug reporting and tracking.
• Preparing test environment.

• Provide feedback to management regarding necessary changes and updates. 
• May include other duties as assigned by Management.
• Benchmark Industry Trends. 

Position Requirements:

• Available to work 10 - 15 hours per week in the Santa Barbara Office. 
• Must be a critical thinker, and a detail-oriented problem-solver.
• Good theoretical knowledge of QA theor.
• Understanding of software development life cycle.
• Good knowledge of client-server architecture and REST API.
• Basic knowledge of Postman.
• Good knowledge of issue tracking systems(Redmine, Jira etc.).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to understand and analyze problems without extensive context.
• Curious and quick learner, with a healthy dose of initiative.
• Excellent time management skills, able to efficiently prioritize tasks and remain flexible.
• Enjoy a fast-paced and team-based environment with the ability to create a positive environment facing adversities.
