About the Opportunity:

Department: People Operations 

Reports to: Head of People Operations 

Responsibilities:

• Assist in General HR Tasks
• Assist in updating Onboarding Procedures and Training
• Learn about the Role of HR in an Organization 
• Support in Event Organization 
• Contribute to research and creation of learning paths with “external” resources
• Assist in Handbook and Policy Updates
• Research current HR Trends / Benchmark Industry Trends
• Support in Hiring 
• Assist in creating Interview Trainings 

• Provide feedback to management regarding necessary changes and updates. 
• May include other duties as assigned by Management
• Assist in Hiring / Screening / Candidate Selection 
• Organize Intern Events and take ownership of Career Fair Presence 

Position Requirements:

• Available to work 10 - 15 hours per week in the Santa Barbara Office. 
• Must be a critical thinker, and a detail-oriented problem-solver
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to understand and analyze problems without extensive context
• Curious and quick learner, with a healthy dose of initiative
• Excellent time management skills, able to efficiently prioritize tasks and remain flexible
• Enjoy a fast-paced and team-based environment with the ability to create a positive environment facing adversities

This is an In-Person Internship at our Offices in Santa Barbara
