ShiftPixy Staffing is Hiring a Warehouse Associate (Temp to Hire) Near Miami, FL
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pull, fill, pack, and set up orders for delivery or pickup.
- Loading and Unloading: Assist in loading and unloading the delivery truck.
- Inventory Management: Receive shipments, log them into inventory, and maintain inventory accuracy through regular audits.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with supervisors, sales staff, fellow workers, and customers to coordinate deliveries and pickups.
- Equipment Operation: Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, maintain required certification, perform vehicle safety checks, and report discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Facility Maintenance: Assist in keeping the facility clean, neat, safe, and operating efficiently.
- Other Duties: Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Education: High school diploma or GED.
- Experience: Prior experience in distribution, general labor, or warehousing preferred. RF Gun experience is a must. Forklift experience preferred.
- Skills: Ability to follow and carry out instructions with minimal supervision. Proficient in operating a forklift and other warehouse equipment.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to maneuver heavy objects, some weighing up to 100 pounds. Regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
- Age Requirement: Must be 18 years of age or older.
