Shield Engineering Group is seeking a Marketing and Proposal Coordinator to join our team! You will be responsible for assisting the Marketing Team in developing, producing, coordinating and implementing various internal and external related marketing deliverables and services. This position requires a personable candidate with an ability to assist the Business Operations Team in a compelling and innovative way. The individual must have strong organizational skills and have professional writing competencies.

• Read and analyze RFQ/RFP requirements.
• Assist in compiling successful RFPs/SOQs including project sheets and resumes.
• Preparation of marketing material and staff resumes through interviews of technical personnel.
• Assist in developing and implementing social media content for the company’s Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn pages.
• Create press releases for company’s website and email marketing.
• Create content and assist in managing the company’s website.
• Work with the Business Operations Team to update marketing materials as needed.
• Plan, organize and execute internal company events.
• Assist in the selection of promotional items and collecting pricing from multiple suppliers.
• Uphold and enforce brand standards across all marketing materials, proposals and events.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising or similarly related degree.
• Experience in marketing, communications and/or social media.
• Experience in the AEC industry or related field is preferred but not required.
• Proficient in various computer applications; Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, WordPress and Office 365.
• Understanding of social media outlets.
• Ability to work well in teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attentiveness to details, instructions and specifications.
