Job Summary

The Operations Analyst will assist with vendor management and customer billing by working closely with the our internal Project Management team, Services Accounting, and SHI’s subcontractor network to improve processes, ensure process consistency, and ensure services projects are billed accurately and on time. The Analyst will also extract, analyze, and process billing data to generate customer invoices. This position reports to the Services Manager of PMO Operations in our Austin, TX or Somerset, NJ location.

Responsibilities

Include but not limited to:  

• Manage and process all billing / invoicing for the Services organization (from receipt of subcontractor invoice to customer invoicing) 
• Order entry and monitoring in billing internal systems and ticketing queues to ensure work is completed in a timely manner (SLAs)
• Audit and analyze customer billing data sets submitted by Project Managers to generate and process customer invoices

• Receive subcontractor invoices and review for accuracy
• Coordinate / collaborate with internal and external customers to research and resolve billing / invoicing issues and revisions 
• Handle requests from Project Managers for status updates of customer invoices 
• Strive to become a subject matter expert (SME) for Services billing activities 
• Develop / update documentation in organization knowledge repository in the spirit of making suggestions for improvement, sharing best practices, etc.

• Analyze existing processes to create / document improvements and efficiencies

Qualifications

• 1-3 years minimum experience of billing and/or order entry experience and/or 1-3 years of accounts receivables experience, which includes billing, research, collections, cash applications, and account reconciliation 
• Bachelor’s degree

The estimated pay range for this position in Colorado is $35,000 - $70,000 which includes a base salary and bonuses. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location, and therefore will vary from individual to individual. This information is provided per the Colorado Equal Pay Act. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
