Sheltering Arms Hospice Care Inc is Hiring a Hospice Registered Nurse (PRN) Near Yorba Linda, CA

Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospice Nurse to join our team. As a Hospice Nurse, you will provide specialized care to patients who are in the final stages of their lives. You will work closely with patients, their families, and a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comfort and support during this challenging time. Responsibilities: - Assess and monitor patients' physical and emotional well-being - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician - Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans - Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families - Educate patients and families about end-of-life care options and available resources - Coordinate with other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care - Document patient care activities accurately and timely - Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations Requirements: - Valid nursing license in [STATE] - Minimum [X] years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in hospice or palliative care - Strong knowledge of hospice philosophy, principles, and practices - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to provide compassionate care in a sensitive and empathetic manner - Proficient in medical documentation and terminology - Familiarity with medical imaging, physiology, and sonography - Understanding of workers compensation laws related to hospice care We offer competitive compensation packages, including benefits such as [LIST BENEFITS]. Pay: $60.32 per hour
