We are looking for our next Surgical Dental Assistant for our Cleveland, OH practice! Our DA ensure efficiency and effectiveness in the day to day procedures of the practice, as well as assisting the Doctor, handling inventory, and working with our Lab Tech to ensure exceptional cases. You will also work with our Team Lead/Implant Consultant in the treatment presentation, look at opportunities to see how the practice can continue to improve and expand and educate and connect with patients to support patient acceptance

Surgical Assistant Responsibilities:
· Setting up and preparing the surgery before the start of each procedure.
· Clean and disinfect all equipment and working surfaces to the required standards at the end of each procedure.
· Keep clinical areas, all equipment, and instruments clean and sterile in accordance with the practice and manufactures health, safety, and infection control procedures.
· Use all equipment and machinery in accordance with manufacturers' recommendations and ensure that they are maintained regularly and in good working order.
· Always ensure the care and welfare of patients in a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner.
· Accurately complete patient electronic clinical record computer skills required.
· Observe patient confidentiality at all times.
· Coordinate with reception to ensure smooth patient communications and transfer of records.
· Attend and participate in office meetings and off site training.
· Able to take CBCT, Panorex, and Periapical x-rays
BLS will be required.
