Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly organized individual to fill the position of Medical Office Manager in our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will have a background as a Medical Assistant, bringing both clinical and administrative expertise to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our medical office.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Medical Office Manager or relevant leadership role.
  • Previous experience as a Medical Assistant is highly preferable.
  • Strong knowledge of medical office procedures, billing, and coding.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance.
  • Proficiency in medical software and office applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Management:
  • Oversee day-to-day administrative operations of the medical office.
  • Coordinate and schedule appointments, ensuring optimal patient flow.
  • Manage patient records, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Implement and maintain efficient filing and record-keeping systems.
  • Staff Supervision and Training:
  • Provide leadership and supervision to medical office staff, including Medical Assistants.
  • Conduct training sessions to enhance staff knowledge and skills.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Clinical Support:
  • Utilize Medical Assistant background to support clinical activities as needed.
  • Assist with patient examinations, procedures, and basic medical tasks.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Billing and Coding:
  • Address and resolve billing inquiries and discrepancies.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Manage and replenish medical supplies, ensuring availability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor equipment and coordinate maintenance as needed.
  • Patient Relations:
  • Handle patient inquiries and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Implement and maintain patient satisfaction initiatives.
  • Compliance and Regulations:
  • Stay updated on healthcare regulations and ensure the medical office's compliance.
  • Implement and enforce policies and procedures to meet regulatory standards.
