SGA Lists is a premier staffing agency located in Saratoga Springs, NY. We are currently hiring in Spartanburg, South Carolina for cook positions.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
• Assist in cooking and preparing various dishes, such as soups, salads, and entrees
• Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in food preparation
• Ensure all food items are properly stored and labeled to maintain freshness and quality
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation and timely delivery of food orders

Qualifications :

• Previous experience in food preparation or a related role is preferred
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects as needed
