Job Title: Registered Nurse - Medsurg

Location: Rochester, NY

Rate: $3840 Weekly

Shift: 48hrs - 4x12hrs - D/E/N Rotating Shifts!

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical team. As a Registered Nurse in the Medical/Surgical unit, you will provide direct patient care, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the highest quality of care for our patients. Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments on patients admitted to the Medical/Surgical unit
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and medical conditions
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor and document patient progress, symptoms, and vital signs
• Assist with diagnostic evaluations and procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their medical conditions and treatment plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes
• Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control standards to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
• Utilize triage skills to prioritize patient needs and provide timely interventions

Requirements:

• Valid Registered Nurse license in NY.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical/Surgical setting
• Proficient in dermal fillers, catheterization, pain management, dementia care, triage, ophthalmology, diagnostic evaluation, and ICD-10 coding
• Strong clinical assessment skills with the ability to recognize changes in patient conditions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
