Required Credentials

· AHA BLS

· AHA ACLS – current or obtain within first year of hire.

· NIHSS

· Degree from an accredited nursing school. Diploma or associate degree accepted, bachelor’s preferred

· Active, unencumbered & unrestricted registered nurse license in New York State.

· Other certifications may be required in addition, depending on specialty.

Required Knowledge

· Proficiency in the use of electric health records (EHR) management

Experience Required

· Eighteen (18) months excluding education/orientation/residency as a registered nurse in specialty of interest.
