Job Title: Emergency Room, Registered Nurse

Blended Rate: $3120/wk

Shift: 4x12s - 48hrs - Evenings and Nights both available

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated team in Rolla, MO. As an ER RN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and challenging environment. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and quickly respond to patient needs during emergency situations.
• Perform triage, prioritize patients based on their condition, and initiate immediate interventions as required.
• Administer medications, start IV lines, and ensure accurate documentation of all treatments and interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
• Monitor and record vital signs, update patient charts, and ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care in compliance with hospital policies.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding their conditions, treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe work environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
• Actively participate in continuous education programs to stay updated with the latest advancements in emergency nursing practices.
• Demonstrate effective communication and teamwork skills to foster a positive working environment.
• Adhere to ethical principles and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

Requirements:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency room nursing. Trauma experience is highly preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to remain calm and focused during high-stress situations.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Knowledge of electronic medical record systems and computer proficiency.
