Overview/ Job Responsibilities

Tactical Networks (TACNET) is a Program of Record (POR) family of systems that are fielded on U.S. Navy ships, submarines and shore sites. TACNET provides mission support capabilities for CANES Pre-installation Test and Checkout, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), CANES Training, and support to TACNET In Service Engineering.

• The Network Integration and Engineering Facility (NIEF) Atlantic, performs pre-installation receipt, storage, management, engineering support, fleet integration and engagement and hardware/software configuration for CANES racks and peripherals prior to delivery to Alteration Installation Team (AIT) for shipboard installation and ISEA Shipboard Configuration and SOVT. NIEF LANT provides shipboard support for hardware and software issues through SOVT and has many ongoing CANES ship set activities across multiple baselines with varying schedules for execution.

Minimum Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience in defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support of electronic systems, to include: logistics principles, practices, and processes.
• Experience shall include at least one (1) years of support with C4ISR systems, to include: Analyzing Engineering/Systems Management Data, and Developing Logistics Plans and Procedures. Experience may be achieved simultaneously.
• Active Secret Security Clearance

Desired Qualifications

• Shall have Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification in Lifecycle [Acquisition] Logistics Foundational/Level 1; demonstrate/specify equivalent life cycle logistics training; or possess an additional one (1) year (i.e., total 4 years minimum experience) working in direct support of defense life-cycle logistics.
