Ourkitchen stewardmaintains an establishment's kitchen and surrounding areas, keeping them clean and sanitary. Duties include creating and maintaining a cleaning schedule for the kitchen, cleaning the stoves, ovens, pots, pans, grills, and refrigerators, and washing dishes, glasses, and cutlery.

• Set-up/break-down and continual maintenance of dish and other cleaning stations.
• Quickly and efficiently maintain sanitation of the kitchen, including run the dish station and maintain output that is aligned with the flow of the restaurant business levels.
• Use the appropriate chemicals correctly and according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
• Receive product and put away in proper storage locations practicing “first in, first out” procedure.
• Maintain the employee bathroom and refill supplies as needed.
• Attend “line ups” and be aware of posted information and follow through accordingly.
• Assist in training new employees using updated policies, procedures and techniques.
• Dress in appropriate attire and maintain clean, professional appearance throughout the shift.
• Attend all meetings and seminars (e.g., employee meetings) as directed by the manager.
• Practice safe food handling procedures at all times.
• Follow current company policies and procedures. Maintain knowledge of new and existing programs to successfully implement and support company goals.
