Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
1) In the process of learning the job of an Account Manager
2) Maintain customer accounts following company values, policies and procedures to eliminate lost business
3) Improve Company’s value to customers by up-solving problems and suggesting products to meet customers’ needs on an on-going basis
4) Create loyal customers following the Company’s Vision and Blue Chip Customer Service Model
5) Renew existing customer agreements following Company’s process
6) Monitor daily, weekly and quarterly individual goals and ensure the goals are being met; adjust accordingly to achieve success
7) Respond to customer requests with a sense of urgency
8) Maintain a neat, professional appearance; promote positive company image both externally and internally
9) Review and complete paperwork daily for accuracy
10) Active gathering and reporting of competitive information from existing customers
11) Gain new business using referral program, cold calling, and co-operation with the Sales Team on the route
12) Review requests for special deliveries, plan routing for efficiency of travel, service customer accounts following company guidelines, and provide feedback to other Account Managers
13) Install equipment in customer locations using provided tools
14) Oversee Service Department paperwork cabinet for completeness
15) Maintain the company vehicle using standards provided
16) Attend and participate in Company, Department and team meetings
17) Perform job duties of Shuttle Driver in absence of Shuttle Driver
18) Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Director or Route Manager
Job Requirements:
1) Must have with a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and ability to be insured to operate a company vehicle
2) Able to pass DOT physical
3) Effective communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing
4) Written and mathematical skills to do job
5) Effective Time Management Skills
6) Strong problem solving and multi-tasking skills
7) Self-motivated
8) Honest, and provides respect
9) Fosters teamwork and promotes a team environment
