FULL TIME WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT

OVERVIEW

Service One, a premier high rise window cleaning and access company located in Chicago, is seeking a diligent full-time warehouse assistant to join our team. The position will collaborate closely with our warehouse manager to efficiently manage our daily shipping and receiving operations, uphold warehouse organization and security standards, and ensure accurate inventory management. Your key responsibilities include:

· Supervising the shop and overseeing the daily allocation of equipment to our field personnel, prioritizing efficiency, and accountability.

· Maintaining warehouse integrity by systematically inventorying items and ensuring their proper maintenance, stock levels, and functionality.

· Assisting in the receipt of goods from field crews and suppliers, meticulously tracking inventory, and stocking items in designated areas.

· Contributing to the maintenance of a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment through various tasks, from routine cleaning duties to larger-scale reorganization projects.

· Cultivating positive and professional relationships with our workforce and freight partners, serving as a primary point of contact.

· Drive company vehicles for delivery to job sites and material pick up as needed.

The ideal candidate for this role possesses:

· Prior experience in warehouse operations a plus but not required.

· Strong attention to detail and adept organizational skills.

· Basic computer skills include email and minor Excel and Word skills.

· Flexibility in task management and ability to meet deadlines.

· Physical capability to lift approximately 40 pounds overhead and safely handle heavy pallets using equipment such as a pallet jack and forklift.

· Must be able to read/write English. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

· Must be at least 18 years of age.

· Valid Driver’s License.

Environment:

· Our facilities consist of a warehouse space, adjacent yard space, and our main office, situated in a converted factory west of Ukrainian Village in Chicago, IL.

· You will collaborate with a diverse team, including sales representatives, operations managers, field workers, and lift technicians, in a supportive yet industrious atmosphere.

Additional Details:

· Salary: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

· Benefits package includes medical and dental insurance, a 401K with 4% employer matching, and paid time off.

· The position requires full-time presence in the warehouse from Monday to Friday 6:30am to 3:30pm to include overtime as needed.

· A background check and drug screening are mandatory prior to employment commencement.
