We are looking for someone who is dependable with high mechanical aptitude and has hands on experience in shop and warehouse environments.

Ideal Candidates:

• Experience with many hand tools and high mechanical aptitude
• Experience with warehousing, shipping and receiving
• Learn quickly and able to follow many detailed instructions

You Will Be Using:

• Oxy Acetylene torch
• Drill Press
• Band Saw/Chop Saw
• Grinder
• Crimper/Cable Cutter
• Basic Hand Tools
• Measurement tools/caliper/micrometer
• Pallet Jack
• Packing tools and materials

Job Responsibilities:

• Follow detailed written and oral fabrication and assembly instructions, guidelines and procedures to create multiple assemblies and kits
• Work independently to determine materials, parts, equipment and procedures to be used for fabricating, assembling and fulfilling orders based on stock levels
• Unload, count, inspect, stock, pick, pack, and ship company goods as assigned
• Complete all necessary documentation for shipments as described under company guidelines
• Inspect inbound shipments, alert management and document damaged shipments
• Communicate low inventory, errors or discrepancies to supervisors to support quality results
• Plan fabrication, configuration and assembly of kits and parts for restocking
• Interact effectively and courteously with customers, fellow employees, vendors, and contractors on the phone and in person.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the facilities and equipment
• Must perform all work in a safe and efficient manner using knowledge of the occupation hazards and corresponding safety precautions necessary for the safe performance of assigned duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Higher technical education (preferred)
• Efficient time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to evaluate information against a set of standards to make decisions
• Must be self-motivated, proactive, positive, and results-oriented
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Clear verbal communication skills.
• Must pass a background investigation.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with shifting priorities to meet tight deadlines
