Serenity Residential Services is currently seeking a part time day (7am-3pm) staff on an every other weekend rotation.

Serenity is a long term placement for those treating substance use disorders for up to 18 months. Staff duties include (but are not limited to) providing a safe and therapeutic environment for individuals to establish their recovery, monitoring for signs of substance usage and conducting breathalyzer tests and urine analyses, collaborating efforts and interventions with co-workers and case managers, providing verbal de-escalation, observing for mental health and psychiatric concerns, providing staff facilitated groups, monitoring medications, completing documentation, janitorial tasks, and assisting with resident needs and skill building.

All training is provided and paid. Within the first 1-2 months of employment you will become a Registered Nursing Assistant, a Medication Aide 1 through the state of ND, CPR and 1st Aide certified among many other relevant trainings for the position. After training is completed there will be an automatic raise from $15.50 to $16.25 per hour. There is also a $0.50 shift differential on weekends.

*Cross training into additional programs is an option to obtain more hours and have a variety of experiences within in one agency!

Requirements

Must have a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record. Criminal background checks are required.

Shifts

7am-3pm

Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday both on the same weekend/same shift) are required of all staff on a regular set rotation. Holiday rotation is also required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.50 - $16.25 per hour
