Serco North America is Hiring a Remote Solutions Engineer

Position Description

We're looking for a highly qualified, asset management focused Solution Analyst to join our team and support our various commercial and public sector clients. You will be part of a large team of technical experts that works closely with the customer and across Serco teams to deliver easy to use technology solutions.

In this role you will:

  • Gather technical requirements for business functions to include UI and storyboarding mockups
  • Author documents and create deliverables for customers.
  • Rapidly understand different business processes and then apply new technologies to increase efficiencies
  • Be inquisitive and assertive while building strong relationships and working effectively across multiple levels of the organization
  • Present technological solutions to non-technical audiences, gather detailed business and functional requirements from groups and individuals, and provide business process and system subject matter expertise to our clients. Interacting with customers and being a strong, positive representative of Serco, is critical
  • Customer Facing meetings at various locations and occasional travel to conferences may be required
  • Demonstrate a knowledge of digital twins, and the data and processes that support implementing and supporting these solutions
  • Ability to understand complex engineering equipment, operations, and processes as well as the activities required to install, maintain, and repair the assets

Qualifications

To be successful in this roll, you will have:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-4 years of experience
  • Experience in consulting directly with customers
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

 Additional desired experience and skills:

  • 7 years of relevant experience
  • Education/Certification in Business Analysis, Scrum/Agile, ITIL, SDLC, Project Management, or Six Sigma
  • Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and/or other data science tools
  • Familiarity with Facilities and Asset Management Frameworks such as ISO 55001 and ISO 41000
