Serco North America is Hiring a Remote Project Leader/Quality Assurance Manager

Position Description

Are you looking for a Project Leader/Quality Assurance Manager opportunity at a place where you can make a difference every day? Discover this great opportunity in our remote Florida location. The Project Leader/Quality Assurance Manager will leverage their experience as a project leader within a training development environment focusing on establishing and leading a quality assurance program. They will utilize their in-depth knowledge of designing and developing curriculum and training materials for interactive instructor-facilitated and self-directed learning within an agile environment to develop and deliver error-free, high-quality products to our end clients. Prior experience providing quality assurance programs and training program management within the Navy or other US Military environments is desired.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide subject matter expertise regarding designing, developing, and implementing Navy training programs that meet or exceed established quality guidelines. 
  • Provide leadership and support in the areas of quality assurance, standards, processes and practices, program operations, project management, and staff management.
  • Manage quality across integrated project teams for simultaneous course conversion/development efforts.
  • Establish and implement quality standards for all aspects of the training development life cycle within an Agile environment to achieve customer objectives.
  • Identify and implement process improvement activities to ensure quick resolution to issues. 
  • Review and evaluate program deliverables to ensure adherence to program and customer quality standards to include the test and evaluation of courseware products and all supporting documentation.
  • Develop and implement courseware/systems testing standards and procedures and oversee testing processes.
  • Ensure processes are in place to document and analyze test results and make recommendations to improve overall quality.
  • Assist with project planning activities associated with training development projects.
  • May provide quality-related training. 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • The ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • A Bachelor’s degree and eight (8) years of leading instructional development project(s) within a highly complex environment.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of QA project management concepts/techniques with ability to define, plan and execute activities necessary to achieve program quality objectives.
  • Experience using QA and project management software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with ability to establish and effectively manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to present persuasively proposed solutions.
  • Exceptional people-management skills with ability to lead/develop others and to promote a team environment.
  • Ability to quickly analyze data/situations, draw relevant conclusions, and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to understand the step-by-step process required to develop and maintain quality service.
  • Ability to effectively utilize available tools and resources to resolve issues.
  • Ability to collaborate and drive consensus across a diverse group of customers with conflicting priorities.
  • Ability to work effectively both individually and in a team environment.
  • Working knowledge of Agile project management methodology
  • Ability to Travel up to 25% as requested.

Additional desired experience and skills:

  • Active DoD Secret clearance desired.
  • Prior experience providing training program management within Navy or other US Military environment is desired.
  • Proximity to Panama City, FL.
